Small Animal
Preventative Care:
A yearly wellness exam is recommended for all dogs and cats. During an annual appointment we will take a comprehensive look at your pet from nose to tail. It is also a great opportunity to address changes in overall health, behavior, and nutrition. At this time your pet's necessary vaccinations will be boostered, to prevent harmful or potentially deadly diseases.
Microchipping:
A permanent
identification chip (smaller than a grain of rice) is inserted below the skin. If your pet ever becomes lost, the chip will contain pertinent information for
authorities to help bring them home quickly.
Diagnostics:
Our in house laboratory has the ability to run a
variety of tests including urinalysis, intestinal fecal screening, screening for
tick born diseases, complete blood counts, and blood chemistries to evaluate
the function of internal organs. These
tests better identify the cause of illness in your pet, and help facilitate
treatment options.
Pharmacy:
Our in-house pharmacy provides an array of prescriptions, supplements, flea/tick preventatives, heart worm preventatives, shampoos, and prescription diets. Our pharmacy is always stocked to meet the needs of our patients.
Diagnostic Imaging:
Our clinic is fully equipped with digital x-ray and
ultrasound equipment. This allows our veterinarians to better evaluate the
musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, cardiopulmonary, gastrointestinal,
reproductive, and urinary tracts of your beloved pet.
Surgery:
|
Most surgical procedures require the administration of general anesthesia. All anesthetic protocols are tailored to each pet based on physical exam findings, medical history, age, and laboratory data. We provide a variety of surgical procedures including spays, neuters, and advanced soft tissue surgeries.

Dentistry:
Oral hygiene is important to all pets. It starts with early brushing, dental chews, and special diets to prevent excess tartar and gingivitis. When the dental disease advances, a full dental cleaning is needed under general anesthesia. Our veterinarians are qualified to do surgical tooth extractions and minor oral surgery.
